I’m excited. Number 2 is fully potty-trained *pats self on back and pours a small glass of wine* so I’m finally leaving the baby stage of my life behind me. Woohoo!! Bye-bye baby wipes and bye-bye nappies!!
One of the staples from the last 5 years of having a child in nappies has been Sudocrem. I’ve used Sudocrem for cuts, grazes, nappy rash and pretty much any other time I’ve needed to treat any skin issues for the girls. Bur never have I thought to use it on myself. After all, it’s a cream for babies’ bottoms!
I’m having a few issues with blemishes at the moment, so I decided to use it as an overnight spot treatment and this was a great idea. I simply put it onto my troublesome areas and left it overnight. When I woke up, my blemishes were both smaller and less red which was great.
I had seen on other blogs that some people had tried using Sudocrem Skin Care Cream as a face mask so I tried this too. As well as terrifying the neighbours when they glanced through the window and making my kids giggle that I looked like a ghost, it did leave my skin blemished skin looking less red and angry. Just a word of warning, if you are going to use this cream, remember that a little goes a long way!
But the best thing about this cream was its size! It was smaller than the usual tubs at 30g but came in a tube, which was perfect for slipping into my handbag ready for the inevitable cuts and grazes that my 2 year old seems to acquire on every outing! It’s also a total bargain at £1.99 for a tube from Boots which means, it’s definitely worth trying.
Have you tried Sudocrem Skin Care Cream? What were your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.
