In case you hadn’t already realised, I’m Naomi and I’m addicted to all things beauty. Makeup, skincare, hair and nails, I love it all! I really enjoy being able to combine my love for writing with my love for all things beauty and sharing it with you guys.
Alongside swatching beauty products and my day job as a primary teacher, I’m also a busy single mum to two amazing little girls. We live in our lovely pink and rose gold new home, mostly spending our days watching anything by Disney and talking about unicorns. If it’s pink or sparkly, we love it.
About Beauty Addict Mama
Beauty Addict Mama was born in December 2016 as a way for me to occupy my evenings when my toddlers went to bed because clearly I didn’t have enough housework to do… Over the years, the blog has grown and evolved into its current form with blog posts fitting into these five distinct categories.
Because I love trying new products, in the Beauty Addict Mama Beauty section you’ll find product reviews on anything from Primark Beauty to Fenty Beauty as well as everything in between.
You can’t be a writer if you never write and if you’re passionate about writing, blogging is the perfect way to share your talents with the world. That’s why I blog. It’s why I encourage other people to blog and it’s why I devote a whole section of my blog to blogging tips.
The Lifestyle section of the blog pretty much contains anything that doesn’t fit into any other section, be it my stationery addiction, days out or my occasional rants. If it’s part of my life, you’ll find it here!
The Mental Health section of the blog is very close to my heart. For so many years, anxiety and depression kept me isolated in my own little world. Talking about my own journey has actually helped me to realise that I wasn’t alone and start to live a healthier, more productive lifestyle. If I can do it, you can too.
All mums say it, but my girls really are my everything. I’m so proud of them and love them with all my heart especially as motherhood was the making of me. However, that’s not to say that single parenting is the easiest thing I’ve done in my life. Here in the Mum Life section you’ll find an honest account of life as a single mum. Just try not to judge me too harshly!
