My subscription box addiction just won’t subside. I’ve heard quite a few good things about the Look Fantastic boxes so I thought I’d try them out. Subscriptions start from £13 per month, if you commit to a 12 month contract, with one off boxes costing £15 and all of the subscription options have free delivery.

Look Fantastic August Beauty Box

The Global Glamour box was packaged really thoroughly and I thought the box was just beautiful. Just like Glossybox. The products inside were wrapped in tissue paper and nestled inside matching blue shredded paper. I’ve said a million times before that I’m a total sucker for packaging and this ticked all of my boxes.

Each Look Fantastic box comes with a copy of Elle magazine which, considering it is £4.30 by itself makes the box really good value. I quite liked the idea of receiving a magazine as I miss reading them – blogging, my job and general motherhood tasks take up the majority of my time.

Lottie London Balm Ball Lip Hydrator in Caramel Apple

This was my favourite product in the box, it smelt gorgeous and was really moisturising. The packaging was super cute too.

Mane’N’Tail Shampoo and Conditioner

I’ve heard so much about this brand and I must admit that it used to be dedicated to looking after horses! It’s not really suitable for my curly hair so I couldn’t use it.

Korres Moisturising Body Milk

This was lovely and had a beautiful scent. It was moisturising but I have really dry skin and it wasn’t quite moisturising enough for me.

Skin 79 Super Beblesh Balm SPF 30 PA++ BB Cream

I’d been wanting to try some Korean skincare for ages, but didn’t know where to start. The thick consistency of this product surprised me, and the colour was too light for me to wear on its own. However, I wore it as a primer under my Mac Studio Fix Fluid and it didn’t look cakey or too heavy.

Gatineau Gentle Silk Toner

I’m a huge fan of French pharmacies – they look so pretty – so was excited to try this. It was gentle, but the scent was a bit too strong for me.

Lord & Berry Magic Brow Pencil

There’s not much to say! It worked and was a great colour for me.

Will I continue with Look Fantastic?

Yes! This was the box that I was most impressed with so far. I also signed up for a 12 month subscription through Quidco and received £20 cashback making my new beauty products even more of a bargain!

  1. That’s an interesting box! I bought one of the Kores body lotion but haven’t tried it yet. The lottie balm is so cute and with a caramel scent, I say yes!

  2. I used to subscribe to Birchbox, but I found I wasn’t enjoying any of the products. I think it’s a huge risk when subscribing to a box like these. However, I am still open to considering others. Great post x

  3. This looks like a great box! We don’t have much of a range here in Australia unless we consider international shipping and I didn’t enjoy what I got in my last box ship so I’ve sadly given up on subscription boxes 😐
